The Oakwood Real Ale and Music Festival
The aim of the festival is to raise funds to benefit the pupils of Oakwood Technology College (formerly Oakwood School). It is organised by Rotherham CAMRA and Oakwood 400 Club.
The festival is the second-biggest public event in Rotherham, after the Rotherham Show.

The Tropical Butterfly House is home to on average 35
different species of butterflies; it is not just butterflies that live in the tropical house, there is
also colonies of toads, leaf cutter ants and Peruvian fern stick insects; you may spot five foot Iguana lizards, or some
of the many exotic birds that are flying free in the tropical house. Also in the tropical house is a collection
of reptiles and amphibians. There is also a Falconry centre, with regular displays from February onwards.
