Charles Revill. a bricklayer, was the son of John Revell, stonemason and Ruth
Charles Revill (b.3 Nov 1845 Corbriggs, Hasland – d. 1 Mar 1915) married Caroline Longden (c. 1853 Calow – d. 27 Aug 1898) on 16 Mar 1871. They had twelve children. Please note that there is a change in the spelling of the siblings’ surnames, but this is how the names were spelled in the family Bible.

After Caroline Longden’s death (1898) Charles Revill (1845 - 1915) married Sarah Millington. Charles and Sarah Revill had one daughter:
- Muriel Revill (b.17 Apr 1902) married (the same) Robert Holmes after the death of her half-sister Mabel Revill
Charles Richard Revell (b.17 Oct 1874) married Polly and had 4 children including William Revell, the youngest. Charles Richard Revell's second wife’s name was Ella Holland.
Maude Ann Revell (17 Nov 1875) married Albert Smith and they had four children:

Sarah Revell (b. 14 Feb 1878 Grassmoor) married Richard Rush and they had three children:

Bernard Revill (b. 3 Mar 1897 Chesterfield - c. 1956)) married Hannah Thornhill (b. 28 Apr 1899 Chesterfield - d. 22 Dec 1949
)(daughter of George Thornhill b. Mar 1877 - c. 1923 and Florence Jacques of Chesterfield b. Jan 1880 - c. 1965) on
28 Dec 1918. The photo shows Bernard and Hannah Revill, in 1948 at 23 Avondale Road, Doncaster. They had five children:

Joan Revill (b. 3 Jun 1920 - d. 12 Sep 1995) emigrated to London, Ontario, Canada on 16 March 1948. Joan Revill married Lorne Edgar Mohr (b. 24 Aug 1915 - d. 1 Mar 1975) on 20 March 1952 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Colbourne St., London, Ontario, Canada. In 1964 Joan and Lorne Mohr lived at Lot 30, Concession 3, County Rd. 13, (now 6156 William St.), Lucan, Ontario, Canada. They had two children:
- Mary Margaret Mohr (b. 17 Aug 1954)( married John Geoffrey Dudleigh b. 25 Mar 1945 Birmingham, England on 19 Jul 1978 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
- Anne Elizabeth Mohr (b. 4 Mar 1956) (married Richard Rollings b. 29 Nov 1952 on 1 Aug 1975 in Lucan, Ontario, Canada)
Ivan Revill (b. 30 Jul 1921) married Helen "Ellen". In 1964 Ivan and Ellen Revill lived at 42 Ingleboro Drive, Sprotborough, Doncaster.
Margaret Revill (b. 28 May 1923 - d. 11 Nov 2007) married Dennis Oates (b. 2 Aug 1921 - d. 22 Dec 2007) on 7 Sep 1946. In 1964 Margaret and Dennis Oates lived at 23 Green Blvd., Cantley, Doncaster. They had one son:

Alan Revill (b.29 Oct 1927 - d. 9 Jul 2011) married Mary Baines (d. 6 Feb 2011)(daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Wilfred Baines) on 2 Sep 1950 at All Saints Church, 14 The Park, Woodlands, Doncaster. In 1964 Alan and Mary Revill lived at 56 Glenfield Ave., Hexthorpe, Doncaster. They had two children:

Bernard Revill (b. 29 Oct 1927 - d. 11 May 2003) married Sheila Houlden (daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Amos Houlden) on 10 Jul 1950 at St. Mary's Church, 26 Bruce Crescent, Doncaster. In 1964 Bernard and Sheila Revill lived at Lincoln Road, Horncastle, Lincs. They had two children:
