- 4 Dec 1481 - At Sheffield Court. - 1560 - Hugh ROBERTS, b. abt 1560, shoemaker, obtained a messuage in Sheffield for £30 from Thomas Swallowe (1597), m. Ann Revell on 15 May 1584, Sheffield
- 1578 - The elder of Thurleston, to William Revill of Thornsetts in Bradfield chapelry (in consideration of a marriage between John's son and heir John Sennior the younger and Anne Revill daughter of William). - 10 Jan 1603.Sheffield Court, of Gilbert, Earl of Shrewsbury. Presented that, on the 22 Nov, Robert Mitchell, by Richard Rayle and John Ryles surrendered 2 messuages and 1 bovate of hastler land, called Edecroft, in Hallam, in the soke of Sheffield, to the use of himself, and Ellen his wife, and after his death, to the use of Margaret Michell, one of his daughters, and then to Alice Mitchell, his other daughter. - 1634 - William Boothe of Slade Hooton, yeoman, to Edward Cresswicke of Stubin Closes in the parish of Carleton in the county of Nottingham, linen weaver. A cottage in Gildingwells inhabited by widow Revell, a croft at the back of the cottage, a foldstead, a garden, a meadow close called Sparrowell, another called the Little Sparrowell, and 7 selions containing about 3 acres in the Longmoorefeild (boundaries described) now in the occupation of William Boothe and lying in the town fields of Gilldonwelles. - 1648 - Gregory Revell, yeoman, of Waddesley, to Thomas Bradwall, husbandman, of Bradwall. Thomas Revell of Rickardfeild, John Marryott of Ughill, John Hey of Holdworth and John Ward of Woodsetts, surrender of messuage in the soake of Bradfeild near Bradfeild Mill, with the property constituting Mill Farme, and a messuage called Thorne House (Thomas Whiteley tenant) and a messuage in Stannington (Richard Ibottson and Richard Greaves tenants), property near Sick House (John Shaw and John Harrocke) all having been given to the Chapelrie of Bradfeild for pious and charitable uses; to the uses of their special trusts under a decree of King James (20 July 1603), 15 November 1659. - 1657 - Including transcript and photocopy of will of William Longsdon's of Middlewood House in chapelry of Bradfield, Yorks., gent., leaving certain domestic utensils and furniture to children if any, and residue equally between children and wife, Elizabeth; exercises power of appointment in property in Great Longstone for 21 years after death without issue, first to pay debts, then to use equally of Elizabeth, his then wife, and his mother, Anne wife of John Revell; appoints Elizabeth executrix. 30 January 1657. - 26 Apr 1718 - View of frankpledge and great court baron of Anthony Eyre, esquire. Manor of Laughton before Robert Darwent, gentleman, steward. It was presented that John Shemeld of Gainsborough in the county of Lincoln, apothecary, on the 29th February, 1715, surrendered a messuage with an orchard and croft containing 3 acres and now in the occupation of William Booth, a close called de le Butts Close containing 3 roods, an acre of land in Nabbsfeild, an acre of land in Leppwellfeild and an acre of land in Westfeild now also in the occupation of William Booth, and also a close called de le Nabbs Close containing 3 acres now in the occupation of John Hawley, and also a close lately enclosed outside le Highthornfeild containing 2 acres, and also a cottage now in the occupation of Anthony Revell.
