The Cattle Trade - Rotherham, December 30th 1862
At this cattle market today the quantity of fat beasts exhibited was pretty fair. The tone of the demand, however, was by no means active, and sales took place at the prices of last week. There was a moderate show of sheep, for which the demand was quiet, and prices remained much the same as in the week preceding.
