Thurcroft Manor and Estate to be sold

The MANOR or REPUTED MANOR of THURCROFT, in the Parish of Laughton-en-le-Morthen, in the West Riding of the County of York. -At the Crown Inn, in Rotherham, on Wednesday, the 4th day of February, 1824, at Twelve o'clock at noon, in One Lot.

THE valuable FREEHOLD ESTATE, comprising the MANOR or REPUTED MANOR of THURCROFT, with an excellent MANSION HOUSE, Gardens, Pleasure-grounds, and Plantations, with suitable Offices; also good Farm Houses; and several Cottages in the village of Brook House. The whole Estate is well watered and fenced, and containing together 774 Acres 2 Roods 1 Perch more or less, of arable, meadow, and pasture land, and a copyhold field at Brook House, containing 3 Acres or thereabouts. Also the timber trees and underwood, of considerable value, being of many years' growth, and of various kinds.

Thurcroft is distant five miles from Rotherham, and nine from Sheffield. The tenants will show their respective farms; and the mansion house may be viewed on application to Benjamin Boomer Esq. the present occupier.
