Clement Rossington of Dronfield was born about 1674 in Dronfield, Derbyshire. He married Sarah Burton, daughter of Francis Burton(d.1687) . They had a son, Clement Rossington of Dronfield, who was Lord of the Manor of Dronfield

A Clement Rossington m Married Mrs.Elizabeth Hydes on 28th February,1742 at Chesterfield. They had a daughter SARAH, Christening: 1st October,1745 at Dronfield, Derby
Will of Clement Rossington of Dronfield, Derbyshire, gentleman:
Creation dates: 10 Jun 1749. He bequeaths his real and personal estate to trustees. On trust for sale, (after paying £30 to his wife, Elizabeth Ulley) to buy property for £1,000 and settle it on his wife for her life with remainder to their issue in tail male; and on certain other trusts to make further provision for his wife and the younger children and to pay legacies to his brother and sisters. The trustees to be executors.
