Hounsfield of Wadsley
Bartholomew Hounsfield, 3rd son of Thomas Hounsfield and Catherine Heywood his wife, who was born 12 May, 1704, and settled at Rotherham. He married at Chesterfield, Nov. 1732, to Miss Dorothy Simms, and had several children, from the younger ones descend the Hounsflelds of Brinsworth and Tinsley.
Francis youngest daughter of Bartholomew HOUNSFIELD of Clough House Sheffield merchant married Thomas Rawson BARKER of Sheffield, lead merchant, at Sheffield 20 Jan 1841.
George Hounsfield of High Hazels was son of Bartholomew Hounsfield, George died at High Hazels in 1870, age 63.
