William Guest, an agricultural labourer age 55, from Blythe, Nottinghamshire, was living at Slade Hooton in 1871, with his wife Ann (Nee Bilham?), age 53, born Waleswood. Children:

Mary J. grandaughter aged 5 months was living with them. By 1881 Ellen had left and son William age 25 was living with his parents.

 

George Guest was born in Maltby, a Blacksmith, in 1871 he was living with his wife Mary J. age 24 from Derby, and children, at Laughton, near Roche Abbey Mill. Children:

 

Living in Laughton in 1871 was William Guest, an agricultural labourer, aged 27, born Laughton and his wife Ann, age 20 from Carlton, Nottinghamshire.

In 1881 William and family were living at Church Corner, Laughton, William is now a Master Blacksmith. Children:

 

Living in Laughton in 1871 was John Guest an agricultural labourer, age 57 born Maltby, and his wife Barbara, age 55, born Brookhouse. Children:
