Edwin Cadman, originally from Derbyshire, of Westbourne House, Sheffield, married Mary Grayson, daughter of Edward Thornhill Simpson, of Thornhill House, Wakefield.
In 1722 George Cadman, cutler had property at West Street Sheffield.
In 1787 David Cadman, razorsmith married Hannah Sykes (b.1743) (Nee Roberts).
in 1786, Roberts, Cadman and Company (Samuel Roberts, George Cadman, Benjamin Naylor senior partners), were manufacturing Tablewear from premises at Eyre Street, owned by Samuel Roberts, senior partner in the firm.
In 1805 Peter Cadman, cutler acquired the lease for 21 years of a piece of land being part of the Hungry Knowles in Sheffield Park at a rent £9. 9s.
