Dorothy, daughter of John Anne of Frickley, married John Anlaby of Etton. Their son William (c.1552–1597) was a Roman Catholic priest and martyr.
George Anne of Frickley (d 1620) married. Margaret Fenton,daughter of Richard Fenton of Burghwallis, Mayor of Doncaster. George was the son of Martin Anne of Frickley (died1582) and Elizabeth Nevill.
Michael Anne of Frickley married Eleanor, daughter of Robert Stapleton of Templehurst
The Anne family had connections through marriage to the Ellis family of Kiddall Hall, Barwick in Elmet, West Riding of Yorkshire.
