Grimsby
Grimsby, situated on the Humber Estuary, is a highly versatile port, catering for all types of cargo. Grimsby is the chief vehicle-handling centre for the North, and home to the UK’s most advanced fish market.
Also home to Grimsby Town Football Club, founded in 1878.
In 1863 the railway line was extended from Grimsby to Cleethorpes, which put Cleethorpes on the map as a holiday destination.
