Support Cavendish Cancer Care

Support Cavendish Cancer Care Cavendish Cancer Care is the difference between coping and not coping. We offer a place for people to go to talk, and someone to help them deal with the way cancer has affected them and their life. We are an independent charity established over 15 years ago giving free emotional support to people affected by cancer in Yorkshire and Derbyshire, please support us.

Cavendish Cancer Care believes that people affected by cancer have individual needs that cannot always be fully addressed by their health care providers and social support networks. We offer a place for people to go to talk, and someone to help them deal with the way cancer has affected them and their life. We are an independent charity established over 15 years ago giving free emotional support to people and their families affected by cancer in Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Though we work closely with the NHS, the money they give us only keeps us going for 12 days per year. To meet the growing numbers of people coming to us for help we must plan to raise £1m per year by 2012. People affected by cancer often feel a variety of emotions from fear, to anxiety, anger, depression and loneliness. We will work with you and help you to adjust to cancer, improve your emotional wellbeing and enrich your life. While NHS care treats the disease, Cavendish Cancer Care takes care of the emotional affects of cancer, through complementary therapy and support for people and their families. We can't cure cancer, we can help you cope with it.

Their HQ is in Sheffield but the Rotherham branch is situated on Broom Road. the local Contact is Jonny Cole
