Robert Seeton m.1601 Laughton en le Morthen to Catherine daughter of John GYFFORD, Vicar who m. 1563 Laughton en le Morthen to Elizabeth SOUTH. Robert had a daughter Sarah who was buried at Laughton 31 08 1616.
Marie SEETON, widow married 1603, Ralph DANBY(d.1620), gent at Laughton en le Morthen. Children Thomas b.1610, Richard (1614-1620) and Marie b.1617
Robert Seaton was in Brookhouse in 1714 and in 1825 a Robert Seaton, late of Brookhouse, in Laughton parish, died seized as of fee of one messuage with a close in Ecclesfield. The son and next heir of the said Robert was John Seaton
