One acre one rood in the Brecks or High Thorne Field also in the occupation of Richard Ward
One acre in the Lepwellfeild in the occupation of William Sayles
One rood in the same field in the occupation of widow Sheppard
In consideration of 3 acres and 3 roods surrendered by William Sayles to Robert Mirfin in the court of the Manor of Laughton.

to William Beckwith of Thurcroft, esquire. A close called the Ley Lounds containing 7 acres, a close called the Little
Lounds, and 2 closes called Upper Pickles and Nether Pickles altogether containing 5 acres within Laughton,
Slade Hooton, Carr and Brookhouse, occupied by Ellen Sayles, widow. For £105.
Margaret Sayles married Nicholas Pearson (Peerson)(c.1629) on 31 October, 1665 at All Saints. Nicholas was son of Edward and Alice(Nee Clayton) Pearson/Peerson. Children born Laughton en Le Morthen:

William Sayles (1815-1885) married Harriet Batty Godfrey.
Harriett was b. Abt 1818 c.5 Oct 1818, daughter of Charles Godfrey of Hooton Pagnell and Sarah Scorah of Brodsworth.
In 1881 William and his family were farming 170 Acres at Carr.
