George Grant was employed by the Duke of Leeds. It is recorded that in 1739 he had the care of his Grace the Duke of Leeds Fox Hounds.
George Grant who was buried the 11 Feb 1739 was married to Mary Ghuest on 30 Jan 1698 at Aston. Source:IGI. Mary was buried the 4 March 1750 age 80 Years.

- William, servant to the Marquess of Carmarthen was interred 7 Aug 1727.
- George christened 19 Nov 1710, buried 14 May 1742 married Ann unknown who was buried 2 Dec 1795 aged 85.
George Snr and his son William were both employed by the Duke of Leeds, which was recorded on their burial record in the Parish of Harthill.
